Computer-based interventions (CBI) and app-based interventions are tools that allow SLPs access to a variety of speech intervention approaches more efficiently and conveniently than picture stimuli. This workshop will describe an evidence-based app called Sound Contrasts in Phonology, or SCIP, that can be used to implement 5 contrastive intervention approaches; namely minimal pairs, the complexity approaches of maximal oppositions and empty set, multiple oppositions, and vowel contrasts.
