This course is an introduction to the science of applied behavior analysis, intended to provide special education therapists and educators who are not experts in behavior, with background knowledge and practical strategies to use with the Special Needs population. Through this course, attendees will learn the functions of behavior and how to identify them, reinforcement strategies to increase desired behaviors from learners, prompting strategies for effective teaching and an introduction to the use of token economies and group contingencies.
